The RugGear RG650 is a rugged smartphone that, unlike many other rugged phones, also has a modern look.

It features a 5.5-inch screen with a modern 18 to 9 aspect ratio. The HD resolution is nice and sharp, and the 520 nit brightness is high enough to be viewed outdoors in sunlight. And that's what the RugGear RG650 is for: to be outdoors.
The casing is resistant to water and dust. The IP68 rating makes it waterproof up to 1.2 meters for 30 minutes and drop resistant up to 1.5 meters. The RG650 is also equipped with the MIL-STD 810G standard, which makes it shockproof, resistant to large temperature fluctuations and does not worry about high humidity. All this protection has not come at the expense of aesthetics, because with its sleek lines and racing yellow stripes it can still be called elegant and refined. What certainly helps is its not excessive thickness. At 12.5 millimeters it is obviously not super thin, but it certainly cannot be called too thick.
