HikMicro is an independent spin-off of a Business Unit of Hikvision, global leader in the production of video surveillance and integrated security systems and solutions. The strong orientation towards technological development combined with the continuous search for innovative solutions has led the group to invest in thermographic technology since 2016.
Today HikMicro is a company specialized in the design, production and testing of thermal products that give life to innovative IoT solutions incorporating advanced thermal sensors, modules and cameras. The company today has more than 1,300 employees, with over 390 Masters and PhD projects and over 115 patents.
Every year HikMicro invests more than 5% of its turnover in R&D, in order to encourage continuous product innovation, thus developing a complete multi-level system ranging from the design to the technical support. The production capacity of HikMicro is over 1.5 million products per year, distributed over an area of ??over 10000m2.

HikMicro operates on three main fields:

• Security/Safety - with solutions equipped with intelligent deep learning algorithms for perimeter protection applications, for the protection of property and people, for the prevention of forest fires and for skin temperature screening;
• Outdoor - with products dedicated to wildlife monitoring and hunting and for search and rescue purposes, in emergency situations, with monoculars and bi-spectrum binoculars and with telescopes for military and hunting use
• Thermography - with devices for carrying out thermographic surveys with extended measurement ranges and high levels of precision, useful for monitoring electrical components, data centres and energy inspections.”
