The SG50 uses a standard 30W solar panel to capture solar energy, simultaneously powering the device and charging the internal battery in ample sunlight. Dynamically adjusts charging current based on battery temperature to optimise solar power use and extend battery life.

Data packet filtering: This function filters out invalid packets, effectively reducing unnecessary power and mobile phone usage.

Smart WiFi control: Offers automatic WiFi shutdown in case of low solar power, reactivation during battery charging and scheduled WiFi control for battery efficiency.

The SG50 is also suitable for non-solar panel applications, such as smart streetlights. The SG50 is powered and its internal battery is charged at night when the streetlights are on, running on the internal battery during the day when the streetlights are off.
